With nothing to live for, and no one to live for Amariea trodded smoothley in. She was new in this world, new to the beings. She wanted one thing so much. She felt that here was something that she would die to have. The one thing that might make it so that she could live in this country with regection. That if she got one thing she would be able to forgive herself for her sisters death. For her last colt. For her last husband.
Her gait soon became faster, she soon became a black blurr. Then as fast as the gallop had come she stopped. The icy wind bit at her but she didn't notice. Then an icicle stabbed her foreleg. The blood trickled down, she didn't move. She glared at the sky challenging, Do your worst She felt the wind, the snow, the ice, fling at her, trying to tear her down. It succeded to the point of bringing her to her knees. Not a tear tuched her cheek. Her head remained skyward. When she was at the point of death she stood.
Is that all you have? Well then, I have but one request before I leave. Give me the power of healing! She screamed at the sky. If you refuse to give me this, then kill me now.She took the chance of death, knowing that she couldn't live with herself, knowing that she had once had the chance for the power of heealing, not been good enough for it, and seen more horses, possibly horses dear to her, die.
Suddenly she felt she had not done enough. Had failed before she had been answered. She looked skyward again, then bent her head towards her foreleg, the one that wasnt' bleeding. She opened her mouth, then buried her teeth in her own flesh. The blood spilled onto the snow, dying it red.She took a deep breath, then turned and waited.
Is that good enough? If not then well, follow her, kill her.
