The small frame of Lafayette galloped up the mountain, her strides never shortening. Her nostrils flared as the scent of equines entered her nares. Lafayette reached a spot on the summit and waited for the victor return. The wind played in her banner, whipping it against her nape. She stood there, waiting almost arrogantly for the queen. And the queen would not be new. It would be the same queen. Lafayette snorted at the thought. Impatiently she reared, stretching her pillars high into the sky, slashing the air savagely. Her back pillars were strong, and she held herself there for minutes, which seemed like hours. Coming down, the ess pranced nervously and kept half-rearing, waiting for an equine to enter. Her nares would be the first to notice, as they never failed.

Hidden, seeing the jumpy form of Lafeyette, let his pillars carry him to her. "Waiting?" He smiled slightly. "I have a guess as to who you want to come out on top." His voice dripped with sarcasm, but more in a teasing way than in a mean one. Slowly he began nibbling at her nape, grooming her, but just for a moment before he stopped and turned his dial to the land before them, waiting for the victor, and the ashamed form of the other.

A tingle was sent through the ess's frame as he nibbled her nape. She giggled for a moment, but stopped. Yes, and if it turned out not how I wanted it to, I will fight for my way. Lafayette stopped and thought. I guess that's selfish...No, for I shall give up my position. She snorted at the thought. I hope you think me not selfish, for I shall give my position away. Vixen reared impatiently like a filly. She nipped Hidden, but only with her labrales.

Blood dripped from the gashes Scream had inflicted on 'er bod, but she took no notice. A stiff three-beat 'er brought 'er back to where she resided, nares catching Hidden and Lafayette's scent. She could guess how Lafayette would react. Changing 'er course, she went to them. Halting 'er sore and bleeding frame, she stood silent. The bloodlust had faded from 'er orbs, leaving in its place an emotionless mask

A flame of rage shot through 'er chocolate frame as the sight of Rain appeared first. She didn't know whether to cry or charge her right away. Lafayette screamed shrilly and she ran farther up the mountain, bucking every stride. You-you IDIOT!! she screamed back down to Rain. No, she would not serve let alone live with this vix. That was at the bottom of her list. Past her list. It didn't even exist in her mind... It seemed like she was galloping for hours. Limbs were tiring, and finaly the fem stopped at what seemed to be the summit. Sobbing, she didn't know if she could gather herself to even challenge her.

Congrats
His lyrics to Rain were almost bored. Watching Layfette leave, he wondered if she would pull through. Though he may have become fond of her, he could not have weak ones in his herd. Deciding she might want some time alone, he began to graze, wondering if Scream was coming or if she had died.

Rain dipped 'er dial in acknowledgement of his words. I get the feeling Lafayette is upset, and I don't think Scream will return.
